This certificate program adapts the principles of Nonviolent Resistance (NVR) specifically for peer support workers, family navigators, parent mentors, and lived-experience advocates. Participants will learn practical strategies to support families experiencing aggression, escalating behaviours, caregiver burnout, and complex family dynamics while remaining within their peer support role.

 

Program Details

Format: Hybrid — self-paced online modules + live virtual

Cost: $695 CAD + applicable taxes

Online Module Access: August 1st, 2026 Participants receive on-going access to online modules August 1st and can complete them at their own pace before and between live sessions.

Certificate of Completion
